The manager was helpful and kind, even walked me back when I got lost. The female dorm bed was comfortable and the location is great for exploring attractions with easy access to public transport. Free breakfast provided a good start to the day.

Great location near Central Market, convenient for public transport. The room was clean and comfortable, with efficient air conditioning. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I had a pleasant stay at Submarine Guest House Central Market. I would recommend it.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean & comfortable rooms with air- conditioning. Free tea & coffee and shared kitchenette. Shared bathrooms were also very clean. Very close to central market and Pudaraya bus terminal. The very best value for money I've had in Malaysia and in general basically.

The street below was a bit noisy but it didn't really bother me. The shared bathrooms were pretty tiny but manageable.

submarine guest house @ central market is always clean, max and the staff are super friendly and helpful. great location near museums, historical sites, and restaurants. accurate directions saved me time. comfortable beds. good value for money. a special shoutout to max and his entertaining comments!

Do well with security system. Every guest will get the access card and door key once check in.

The main door located at side or corner of shop. Hardly to spot for first time time guest. But with map provided by Submarine is helpful.

The location of the hotel was great, close to the central market and a train station. It was really convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. I appreciated the free map and towels that were provided upon arrival. The toilets and rooms were clean, which is always a plus. Another advantage was the free coffee and tea available, it was a nice touch.

One of the downsides of the hotel was the stairs. They were quite steep and with the heat and luggage, it was a bit of a struggle to get up and down.
